I am pleased to announce that our project, “Opportunities for Health” was a giant success. A very big thank you to everyone who helped make this project a success. Because of you kindness and support, we were able to repair and update the facilities at Gorlovka school #25, replace old damaged equipment and purchase new sports equipment which will help to create a larger variety of sports taught at PE lessons. Olena Nikolayevna was able to start up a new fitness program where she will offer yoga and aerobics classes to women in the community.
The physical education program at school #25 is feeling fresh and rejuvenated. There is a new confidence in the air and enthusiasm for sport and fitness is high.
We couldn’t have done it without the generosity of our donors or all of you who shared this project or supported us in any way.
THANK YOU.

Today marks the 27th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster in Ukraine. In honor of those who were affected and those who risked their own health to enter the radiation zone and attempt to clean up the mess, we had a moment of silence and spent the day remembering what to do in case of a nuclear accident.

No matter how long the slinky is, the bottom of the slinky will stay still (hover) until the top reaches it. Even if the slinky is over 1000 feet long.
